Vancouver, aka Hollywood North, affected by U.S. writers' strike

The U.S. writers' strike is having an impact on BC's film and television industry. According to an article The Vancouver Sun, productions are shutting down left and right.

The LA Times reports that writers and studios are planning to return to negotiations on Nov. 26, 2007 following the American Thanksgiving weekend.
