Home is Where the Food is (Eating local in BC)

Home is Where the Food is by The Juki Museum on Vimeo.

I found this cool animated short posted on Scout Magazine, Vancouver's independent food and culture online 'zine. It was made for the 100 Mile Diet based in Vancouver.

It includes Little Qualicum Cheese Works on Vancouver Island, which is featured in a recent post on a series of 12 Pacific Northwest Getaways that I wrote for Examiner.com.

Loved this video!

Let's hope that this movement continues to grow. I often visit Quebec and that's another area in Canada where local fare is highly prized and encouraged.
