There will be some familiar faces and fabulous wines featured at the Osoyoos Celebrity Wine Festival, June 10-12 in BC's beautiful Okanagan Valley. Here are some of the highlights:Vinos Amateur Wine Film Festival: June 10, 8 PM at Watermark Beach Resort. Features all the wine film submissions, wine, food and dancing to Double Magnum (Dan Zepponi and Peter Glockner). Tickets $29.
Nota Bene Release Party at Black Hills Estate Winery: Saturday, June 12, 12-3 PM. Includes lunch featuring food and wine pairing stations. Celebrity chefs are Ned Bell, Food Network; Rob Rainford, License to Grill; Michael Lyon, Chef Off! Music by Double Magnum. Tickets $149, orde on-line from Black Hills or call 250.498.0666.
Osoyoos Celebrity Wine Auction: Saturday June 12, 7 PM at Spirit Ridge Resort. Features four celebrity chefs and eight winemakers. Music by Steven Page, former leader of the Barenaked Ladies.
In addition to Jason Priestly attending the inaugural festival, other luminaries include actors Dean Cain, Bruce Greenwood and Lou Diamond Phillips.
