©SueFrausePhoto Sarah McLachlan, one of my favorite Canadian singer-songwriters, will be part of Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge's opening weekend celebration May 12-15, 2022. Billed as the Sounds of the Sounds concert, guests will be treated to an intimate acoustic performance by the Grammy and Juno Award winning artist, who was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2017. Playing against the beautiful backdrop of Canada's pristine wilderness, the special weekend package includes the concert plus the usual offerings of Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge:
Rate for three nights per person, twin share, is $3,566 CAD ($2,781 USD). Excludes transfers, taxes and fees. A portion of the proceeds from the weekend's bookings will go directly to the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, whose mission is to provide high quality music education at no cost to underserved and at-risk youth. Click on for more details and reservations The easiest and quickest way to get to Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is to take a scenic 45-minute seaplane flight from Vancouver International Airport directly to the resort dock on Clayoquot Sound. |

Even if your heart doesn't pitter patter over all things Canadian, read on. You'll find photos, travel tips, road notes and the latest news and thoughts about our friends north of the 49th parallel. Cool idea, eh?
