The Green Chain: Battle over BC's trees

"A powerful, funny and thought-provoking film about the conflicts between people on both sides of the battle who love trees, and are willing to risk anything to protect their personal visions of the forest and our planet." IMBD.com
A friend emailed me about this 2007 movie, which was filmed in British Columbia. It was written and directed by Mark Leiren-Young, who is half of the Canadian comedy duo, Local Anxiety. Leiren-Young is the recipient of the 2009 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour for Never Shoot a Stampede Queen. He's a regular contributor to The Tyee, an online publication based in Vancouver, BC.

Running time of the film is just under 90 minutes.
