White Christmas for Canada in 2009?

In 2008, all of Canada was treated to a white Christmas. It was the first nationwide white Christmas in nearly four decades.

With a snow advisory for Vancouver, BC this week, things may be looking up for a repeat in 2009. That is, only if it doesn't warm up too much. The forecast is calling for about 20 centimetres in BC's lower mainland (that's about 7 inches).

If you're wondering what the odds are for a Canadian white Christmas where you live, click on this Environment Canada link. And for the United States, here are the Top U.S. Snow Cities.

A country wide White Christmas. What a wonderful thing for an entire country to celebrate along side the holidays. If that were to ever happen in the states, we'd be in trouble. Would be like the movie "The Day After Tomorrow". Happy Holidays from -
