Canadian stranded in Stockholm by volcanic ash

Stockholm, Sweden. Photo by Sue Frause.

I just heard from a friend in Stockholm who said her husband is stuck in Milan, Italy and unable to fly home. Of course that means that trains and ferries are picking up the slack, as reported here in the Daily Mail. If you can get on.

Among the thousands of stranded travelers is a Prince Edward Islander stuck in Stockholm (not such a bad place to be stuck). Flights to and from Canada continued to be canceled due to the ash.
