I didn't realize that film director Shawn Levy was from Montreal.
But with the Levy-directed Tina Fey/Steve Carell film Date Night opening on April 9, 2010 there's plenty of buzz about the Canadian filmmaker.
Born in Montreal in 1968, the 40something worked on two hits TV shows in Los Angeles after graduating at age 20 from Yale University: thirtysomething and Beverly Hills, 90210.
His film credits include both Night at the Museum films, The Pink Panther, Cheaper by the Dozen and Just Married.
