Vancouver's Celebration of Light: Four nights of fireworks at English Bay

Back in 1990, Vancouver staged what was then called the Symphony of Fire. Now called the Celebration of Light, it's an international pyro-musical fireworks competition staged on English Bay in the city's West End.

Here are this year's four shows:
Wednesday, July 21: The Keg presents USA Night
Saturday, July 24: London Drugs presents Spain Night
Wednesday, July 28: HSBC presents Mexico Night
Saturday, July 31: Concord Pacific presents A Tribute to China
Location: English Bay, Vancouver

Showtime: 10 PM, rain or shine

Prime Viewing Spots: English Bay, Kitsilano, Vanier Park, Jericho Beach

The event is free from public parks and beaches, and the music simulcast begins at 10 PM on SHORE 104.3 FM. Estimated annual attendance: 1.4 million.
