Johnny Reid's 'Let's Go Higher' makes for a catchy CBC promo
I'm a big fan of CBC -- well, except when they gave Dragons' Den Brett Wilson the heave-ho a few months ago. But I do enjoy watching and listening to their fall promotional video they've been running. It's a catchy tune by Johnny Reid titled, Let's Go Higher.
Johnny Reid first came to my attention when he was giving a concert in Quebec City at Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac last year. The Scottish born singer, who grew up in Quebec, has a great set of pipes and I'm sure puts on a terrific show.
I'll just have to wait 'til he makes it south of the '49th Parallel. Johnny, do you hear me?

CBC radio is a gem. Great shows like Ideas, As It Happens, Cross Country Canada and Age of Persuasion are some of my favourites.
There are cuts coming from the federal gov't..they promise it won't be more than 5 percent....here's hoping.
Whoops. Meant Cross Country Check Up.
I need to start listening to CBC Radio online ... thanks for the reminder!
Love the Johnny Reid CBC promo...and Jian Ghomeshi's 'Q' is appointment radio in my home-office (and online when travelling) whenever possible.
