Downtown Calgary on a summer day.

Canada's WestJet Airlines begins service between Seattle and its main hub in Calgary, Alberta beginning November 4, 2021. This marks WestJet's first service to Seattle and will provide additional options to and from Alberta's largest city.

WestJet is a brand-new carrier to SEA Airport. "Whether you're traveling for business or taking a long awaited trip to the beautiful Canadian Rockies, West Jet is a valuable addition to passenger choices," said Lance Lyttle, SEA Airport Managing Director.

WestJet, Canada's second largest carrier, will begin Seattle service with four weekly flights using West Jet Encore's Q400 aircraft. The service will increase to two daily flights by May 19, 2022.
