




It's called Eat Drink Local Week, but it actually spans two weeks. Running Jan. 9-11 and 16-19 in Gastown, the culinary event is a nice warm-up to Dine Out Vancouver 2011 that begins Jan. 24.
Participating restaurants include 2 Chefs and a Table, Au Petit Chavignol, Big Lou's Butcher Shop, Boneta, Cork & Fin and The Diamond.
At all restaurants, you may enjoy "one drink, one dish" for $20. Yes, the drink may be alcoholic!
I stopped by five of the venues yesterday while touring around Gastown. Pictured top to bottom are 2 Chefs and a Table, Cork & Fin, Big Lou's Butcher Shop, The Diamond and Boneta.
